Take the train to Haarlem on 23 April, 2015!

Haarlem, founded in 1245, has been the historical centre of the tulip bulb-growing district for centuries and bears the nickname "Bloemenstad" (flower city). Since the Middle Ages, Haarlem, which lies on a thin strip of land above sea level known as the "strandwal" (beach ridge), is one busiest and richest places in the Netherlands. And on one of the busiest places in Haarlem ILAB booksellers will pop up on UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day.

Meet the Dutch antiquarian booksellers at the ILAB Pop Up Fair at Haarlem central station. The ILAB affiliates of Antiquariaat De Vries & De Vries, Bubb Kuyper Auctions and Antiquariaat A.G. van der Steur will not only offer rare and fine books, maps and prints - some of which you might never have seen before - , but also symbolic books to fill an "empty bookcase" for the school children in South Sudan. Help UNESCO to fight illiteracy in South Sudan by making a donation at the ILAB Pop Up Fairs on World Book and Copyright Day!

From 5 to 6 pm people may bring their own books for a free appraisal.
