I got up early today. Very early. It’s 3 am, it’s dark outside. Very dark. What the hell am I doing here? I am turning on my computer, it’s 23 April, UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day 2015. The series of worldwide ILAB Pop Up Book Fairs will start right now at the other end of the world.
At this moment the Australian antiquarian booksellers are setting up their books, maps, prints, manuscripts at the State Library of New South Wales. There, at 12 noon, local time, Professor Dame Marie Bashir, former Governor of New South Wales, book collector and much loved Australian will declare the day of ILAB Pop Ups open!
Pictures will follow, soon. Stay tuned.
