7 pm, Munich - Cocktails, Book Tales and "Preußens nackerte Venus"

If you are looking for a “typical” English club in Germany, you would do well to start in Munich. Since 1832 - the year when Goethe died - the Kaufmanns Casino has been hosting “tout Munich”,  business people, artists, lawyers, physicians, authors, scientists, for conferences and cocktails. The Casino is one of Munich’s institutions. Munich without it would not be the same for all who are living in the wonderful capital of Bavaria.

Since five o’clock the Kaufmanns Casino is busy with booklovers enjoying music, finger food and drinks. The main course will, of course, be books. And the fundraising for the UNESCO literacy projects. That is what the UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day is about.

And if you come across "Preußens nackerte Venus", don't hesitate and take her with you.
